Synopsis
The classic Sleeping Beauty tale only, as told from the animals’ point of view. Brunilda, the unsociable and mean fairy is innocently omitted from the guest list of the Princess’s first birthday party. Outraged she casts a curse on the child, “She’ll prick her finger on a spinning wheel at age fifteen and fall down dead.” Hildegard, a good fairy, modifies the spell to, “Sleep for a hundred years,” instead. The animals entice a handsome Prince to kiss the sleeping princess, Briar Rose which breaks the spell. Meanwhile the good fairies sprinkle happy dust on Brunhilda, and everyone has a big conga party. A fun time for all. Large cast ages 7 to14.
