AThe King remarries and the new monarch, Queen Vanity, often consults with her magic mirror to verify her status as, “The fairest in the land.”    One day her name is replaced by Snow White’s.   Outraged, the Queen sends Hymey the Huntsman to dispose of the problem, “Quick and painlessly.”  Instead, he compassionately releases Snow White in the forest where she meets the seven dwarfs.  The Queen finds out and posing as an old woman gives her a poisoned apple.  Saved by her mother's spirit, the princess falls asleep until a handsome prince kisses her and breaks the spell.  This original version of the fairytale has sixteen memory-sticking songs by the noted composer Cheryl E.
