In 1987 we asked our city for some space and they graciously gave us an old, unused dilapidated school auditorium. We put the word out and the children came. Naturally they all wanted big parts, so we began writing. It’s amazing what deadlines can do. We loved the children and wrote for them with love and caring. Out of that love these plays arose.

The children have been playing pretend on the stage of our recently remodeled theater for more than twenty five years now. Over this span we learned one thing – by playing pretend when young, children learn how to act as adults. Enjoy and break a leg.
