Mariner Pezza

Mariner Pezza, a founder of Crystal Theatre has a background in business, engineering and construction which proved useful during CT’s inception ­- guidance through the non-profit and City Lease processes.  Later he marshaled community’s resources to renovate the derelict Ben Franklin Auditorium into the beautiful Crystal Theatre of today.

After retiring, Mariner was free to pursue other interests, including  fine art, writing, and invention.  And the stage of CT proved to be  a target-rich environment.  His paintings and photography adorn the walls and his plays enliven the stage.

            In addition to writing the book to 6 musical plays with his composer wife Cheryl Kemeny, Mariner has written what some call - “The best science fiction ever.” A trilogy titled “The Fourth Level” in which a young man discovers a scientific principle that changes the world, i.e. anti-gravity.
